The Green New Deal: The solution to the years of social, economic and environmental underdevelopment?

After a group of youth environmental activists from the Sunrise Movement were joined by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at a sit-in inside House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi's office, a resolution was submitted, "recognizing the duty of the Federal Government to create a Green New Deal (Green New Deal, 2019). This resolution started discussions all over the world on global warming and raised awareness of the growing problematic we're facing.
